Take part in something a little more meaningful than turkey this Thanksgiving season at the Turkey Trot Chicago 5K & 8K. You can work off those pre-feast calories while also helping to serve the local community of Chicago. Be sure to register online to hold your place in this coveted race against hunger. After registering and showing up for your time slot at the race, you will also receive a free t-shirt, a finisher medal, post race refreshments, a complimentary beer as well as access to the Turkey Day Tailgate finish festival, which is always a blast! 

The race starts at Lincoln Park and wraps around the beautiful scenery of Lake Michigan, with the finishing line located along Cannon drive. Parents are welcome to bring their children to attend the children’s race as well or if they’re under 2 they can ride along in a jogging stroller, but need to be included in the last wave of runners.
