Since 2005, Bockwinkel’s at Park Millennium has been a favorite local destination for quality groceries and tasty prepared foods. It’s a popular place for weekly grocery shopping, thanks to a tidy produce section filled with farm-fresh fruits and veggies, as well as an in-house butcher and a variety of imported specialty groceries (Italian mozzarella, Belgian chocolate, and Spanish chorizo, to name a few).

What this place is best known for, however, is its legendary deli. You’ll find an extensive salad bar that includes everything from spring greens and baby kale, to pickled beets and toasted pumpkin seeds. There’s also a soup counter, which always carries at least three varieties of house-made soup (regulars rave about the traditional chicken noodle soup). And don’t forget the deli counter itself. You can put together a pretty impressive cheese and charcuterie spread to take home, or have the deli staff prepare a giant hoagie you can bite into right away.
